PCD and CBN Tools

Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) is a synthetic diamond product that is produced by sintering together carefully selected diamond particles with a metal matrix. It is exceptionally resistant compared to conventional tungsten carbide tools. In certain application PCD tool life can exceed conventional tool life 50 to 100 times. / Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) is a sintered material consisting of CBN particles bonded to an appropriate ceramic binder and backed by hard metal substrate. CBN crystals ensure an exceptional hardness and wear resistance.
